The Riese & Müller Carrie is a smart and space-efficient electric cargo bike that redefines urban mobility. Designed for riders who need to transport goods or children but have limited storage space, the Carrie delivers maximum utility within a compact frame just 209 cm long. With a narrow 43 cm wide Basic Box (or optional Flex Box), this compact cargo bike is built to navigate tight corners, narrow hallways, and city bike rooms.
At the heart of the Carrie is a Bosch Performance Line (smart system) motor, paired with either a 545 Wh or optional 725 Wh battery, providing strong pedal assistance and flexibility for longer commutes or heavier loads. The seat and stem are fully adjustable, fitting riders from 1.50 m to 2.00 m tall. Thanks to the low step-through design and sturdy build, the Carrie remains stable and easy to handle, even when fully loaded.
Carrie is available in three model variants, each tailored to different preferences:
- Carrie City: Features a Shimano Nexus 5-speed internal hub with grip shifter and chain drive. A simple, low-maintenance setup ideal for flat city rides.
- Carrie Touring: Equipped with a 10-speed Microshift Advent X derailleur system and chain drive for riders who want more gearing options and versatility.
- Carrie Vario: Offers an Enviolo stepless hub gear system combined with a Gates CDX belt drive for smooth, low-maintenance performance and easy shifting.
All models feature a SR Suntour Mobie suspension fork, Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes, integrated lighting (Supernova Mini 2 front, Büchel Z-Fire Mini rear), and a comprehensive cargo and passenger accessory system. The Carrie supports up to 80 kg on the front cargo area and 27 kg on the rear rack (if equipped), with accessory options like child seats, headrests, cargo bags, and weather protection.
Designed with sustainability in mind, 80% of the aluminum frame is recycled, and components are built for easy maintenance and repair. The Carrie is also compatible with Riese & Müller’s RX Chip for connected services such as GPS tracking, motion alarms, and ride data via the RX Connect app.
