Our service is meant to minimise the risk of water damage if riding in the rain or wet weather is unavoidable
Voltride Service can do this on new and used products we sell or even on some products we do not sell.
Depending on the model we do:
- Seal the outer case with silicone to prevent water ingress
- Motor cable connector shielding with heat wrap and silicone
- Seal exposed connectors
- Seal leakage points next to the lights and other places
- Seal battery connectors
- We do not seal points meant for water exit
We do not:
- We do not open the motor (in most cases)
- We do not re-seal the battery (in most cases)
- We can’t seal the bearing (in most cases)
- We do not give any extra warranty for water ingress
- We do not recommend riding in the rain
Depending on the vehicle and its complexity, the price of the work differs. You may find the exact price when choosing the right product from dropdown menu. If waterproofing is bought for used and “broken” vehicle, then there might be additional costs, depending on the certain case.
When adding waterproofing to the cart with a new vehicle, the transportation time extends up to 1-3 weeks (due to service queue). Regarding possible lead time, contact our service.
